Hey there, I'm Emily Rice, welcome to my virtual therapy space. Through a blend of Person-Centered Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I offer a compassionate space where we can work together towards your goals and values. By inviting curiosity over judgment, we can reflect on your experiences with openness and understanding, helping you move through difficult thoughts and feelings. I take an individualized approach, recognizing each person’s unique journey, and will tailor strategies to support your needs. My Philosophy: I believe that therapy is a journey we embark on together. It's a partnership where your goals and values guide our work. My role is to support you, provide guidance, and offer tools to help you navigate life's challenges. I recognize that each of my clients are experts in their own lives. Our Work Together: In our sessions, we will work collaboratively to identify and address the patterns that may be holding you back. Using ACT, we'll practice unhooking from unhelpful thoughts and reconnecting with your core values. My aim is to empower you to live a more fulfilling and authentic life. Whether you're navigating a significant life transition or stressor, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, I'm here to guide and support you throughout the process. Getting Started with Online Therapy: I offer online therapy as a flexible and convenient way to access support from the comfort of your own home. Many clients appreciate the ease and accessibility of virtual sessions, finding them just as effective as in-person meetings. Whether you have a busy schedule or prefer this format, online therapy provides the convenience and comfort to focus on your mental well-being. Our therapy sessions are conducted through Simple Practice Telehealth, a secure and user-friendly platform. This means you can attend your session from the comfort of your own home, using your computer, smartphone, or tablet. Prior to your appointment, you'll receive an email with a link to access the virtual waiting room. You'll also have access to Simple Practice's client portal, where you can securely message me and view upcoming appointments. At the scheduled time, simply click on the link in your email to join the session. Reaching Out: Reaching out for therapy is a powerful act of self-care, and I’m so glad you’re here.
